Working around with cPanel is pretty simple. Lets take a look at some simple steps to create Email accounts in cPanel web hosting control panel.
Step I : Log-in to your cPanel control panel (No need of the root login).
Step II : Once into the control panel, you must check for an icon for Email accounts, or else, you might want to search for that in the search tab. The search tab is what I usually prefer, just enter the keywords and the results are displayed almost instantly. Below is a screenshot of how it looks like:
Step III : Clicking on the Email Accounts icon would take you to the below displayed screen. In the boxes provided to you, you need to enter the relevant information i.e. your desired email address, your password and the disk space you wish to allot for the mailbox.
Step IV: Hit the ‘Create’ tab to proceed with creating the mailbox. Then you’d be asked for a confirmation. Recheck the details that you;ve entered and hit the ‘Yes’ tab.
Considering the chance that you’ve gone wrong somewhere (its a repairable human error, so no need to worry about it)while entering the data and you wish to recreate the account. Removing/deleting the email accounts from cPanel is simpler that the process that was involved in creating it. On the same screen where you were trying to create an account, you’d find a screen as show below :
Inorder to remove an email account, you just need to click the cross icon titled as ‘Delete’. On doing so, you’d again be asked for a confirmation. Confirming it would delete the account which you do not wish to keep.
